The Anima Mundi Tarot is a celebration of the natural world, rooted in the idea that all living things share a common soul. Drawing from both the Rider-Waite tradition and medieval and Renaissance visual culture, the deck presents the full 78-card structure through a lens of biodiversity and ecological wonder. The artwork is original and hand-painted in acrylics, giving each card a tactile, organic quality that suits its nature-centered themes. Gold-foiled edges and a sturdy rigid box make this a deck as handsome to hold as it is to read with.
Megan Wyreweden is an Asian-American artist working out of a studio in Seattle. Her illustrations are shaped by folklore, nostalgia, nature, and a love of fantasy and horror that grew out of a bookish childhood. She has created work for Metal Weave Games, The Bookish Box, Illumicrate, and other clients, and is especially drawn to moody landscapes, ancient ruins, and fierce feminine figures.
