Medicine Cards Deck/Book Set
Medicine Cards is one of the most widely used divination systems rooted in Native American traditions, having reached over a million readers in more than eight languages since its original publication. The revised and expanded edition pairs a beautifully illustrated book with a 52-card deck, each card depicting an animal wearing a dream catcher. The system is built on the understanding that each animal carries a specific medicine, a form of power and teaching that readers can draw on for healing, guidance, and balance. The book explains how to work with the animals and what their presence in a spread can reveal.
Over de makers
David Carson was raised in Oklahoma by his Choctaw mother and aunts, who taught him the signs and ways of animals. He studied at the Writer's Workshop at the University of Iowa and has since traveled widely giving readings and seminars. Jamie Sams is a Native American medicine teacher of Iroquois and Choctaw descent, a member of the Wolf Clan teaching lodge of the Seneca Nation, trained in Seneca, Mayan, Aztec, and Choctaw medicine. Angela Werneke is a designer and illustrator whose visionary artwork appears in several published works.
