Gilded Tarot Royale Deck
The Gilded Tarot Royale deck-only edition contains the same 78 cards and small instructional booklet by Barbara Moore as the boxed kit, presented in the same striking imagery. Ciro Marchetti's original 2004 deck has been reworked here with borders removed and colors pushed into deeper, more luminous jewel tones, drawing from Renaissance art, Steampunk design, and Commedia dell'arte. Note that despite the name, the cards do not have gold foil or gold-painted edges.
Over de maker
Ciro Marchetti is an award-winning artist from the United Kingdom who studied art in London before building a career working across Europe and South America. He eventually settled in the United States and opened a design agency in Miami, where he also teaches workshops on digital illustration at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute.
