Golden Tarot of the Renaissance (Estensi Tarot)

This deck has a remarkable history behind it. Once misattributed as the Charles VI or Gringonneur Tarot, the original cards are now understood to have been created in late 15th century Ferrara for the Este family. The deck was restored, completed, and renamed to reflect that true origin. The Minor Arcana added by Dworkin draw from frescos in the Schifanoia Palazzo, which was owned by the same family, making the imagery genuinely connected to its historical roots. Gold foil highlights animate the figures throughout.
