Nigel Jackson lives in Manchester, England, and is an internationally recognized artist and illustrator specializing in the Western Esoteric Tradition. He works extensively with the symbolic language of 15th-century Italian tarot, the teachings of Renaissance astrological magicians such as Ficino, Agrippa, and Bruno, and the 28 Mansions of the Moon. His research draws from ancient grimoires including The Picatrix, and he has spent more than 25 years pursuing the inner wisdom of the hermetic mysteries, which he views as a living alchemy of the imagination expressed through visual art.
